A 41 mile long pilgrimage route accessible to walkers, cyclists and horse riders linking the churches of Upper Ryedale and Helmsley with Rievaulx Abbey

St Aelred of Rievaulx

Aelred of Hexham, the abbot of Rievaulx wrote on christian friendship and was gifted with the wisdom to lead others in the way of holiness. Walk in his way, come and take a spiritual journey towards one of the stops on this route, each a sacred place.
