Routes for Riders and Cyclists

The trail came about because of the Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust Ride and Stride Event in 2023. So, it is only fitting that we should try to provide routes for riders, cyclists and accessible routes alongside those for striders. Watch these pages for full details as the routes are developed.

Riding Route

Thanks to the work of Bill Tait and the Ryedale Bridleways Group (RBG) we are hoping to publish the Saint Aelred's Bridleway Trail soon. Mary and Mojo, see photo left courtesy of Andrew Ray of Marimages, are hoping to complete the whole 41 mile trail on the weekend of our launch day, 12 to 15 September 2024.
